Terms & Conditions of Sales

Object
These General Conditions of Sale (GCS) automatically govern sales of stays in the ADOREI gîte at Domaine de Leycot.
Renter: Catherine ABBADIE, Lieu-dit Leycot 24150 Cause de Clérans.
The tenant acknowledges having read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions prior to any reservation.

Ability
The rental of the cottage is established for a capacity of 6 people for optimal comfort. On request, a 140 X 190 convertible sofa in bedroom 3 can be used as an extra bed.
If this capacity is exceeded, the lessor may refuse additional persons.

Price
The price includes the rental of the cottage and the tourist tax, the provision of sheets (beds made on arrival), bath towels and kitchen linen, towels for the swimming pool.
Baby equipment can be provided on request (bed, high chair, bathtub) with the exception of sheets and blankets.

Reservation
The reservation becomes effective after payment of the total rental amount.
All reservations are personal and cannot be transferred to a third party.

The tenant can pay for his stay

Payment security
The renter has chosen elloha.com/stripe.com in order to secure online payments by credit card. The validity of the customer's payment card is verified by stripe.com . The payment card may be refused for several reasons: stolen card, blocked card, limit reached, input error.
Any reservation or payment that is irregular, inoperative, incomplete or fraudulent for a reason attributable to the tenant will result in the cancellation of the order.

Cancellation of reservation or modification by the customer
Cancellation of a reservation must be made by email to the rental company and will only be effective after confirmation of its acceptance by the latter.
In case of cancellation,

If the tenant does not show up on the scheduled arrival date (No show), 100% of the amount of the stay remains with the lessor.
If the stay is shortened, 100% of the amount of the stay remains with the lessor.

Cancellation of reservation or modification by the lessor
In the event of force majeure or serious personal events affecting the lessor, a proposal for rehousing or postponement of the stay may be proposed. If this proposal is not suitable, the lessor undertakes to reimburse the entire reservation. No compensation may be claimed.

Arrival and departure
The tenant must arrive on the first day of their reservation between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. In the event of a late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the lessor.
Departure is before 10 a.m.
The length of stay is determined at the time of booking. The tenant may not under any circumstances claim to remain on the premises at the end of the stay.

Use of premises
The tenant undertakes to respect the peaceful nature of the premises and to use them in accordance with their intended purpose.
The cottage is non-smoking.
Pets are generally not allowed on the estate except in exceptional circumstances after discussion between the lessor and the tenant. In the event of non-compliance with this condition, the lessor may refuse the stay.

Household
The cleaning of the premises and equipment is carried out by the lessor at the end of the stay. It is the tenant's responsibility to ensure that the accommodation is tidied up (inside and out) before leaving.
A cleaning kit is made available to the tenant if necessary during their stay.

Pool
An unheated swimming pool, 10 x 5 m and 1.5 m deep over its entire length, is available to tenants of the gîte from May 1 to September 30. The swimming pool is treated with sea salt obtained by crystallization of evaporated sea water. Through the process of saline electrolysis, the salt acts as a natural treatment reproducing clean, softer seawater.
For safety, the swimming pool is alarmed. Guests are responsible for its management during their stay. Children remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents.

Insurance and liability
The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by him. He must be covered by civil liability insurance and can take out a holiday insurance contract for these risks.
The lessor cannot be held liable in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings on the entire estate, both inside and outside.

Claim
The lessor listens to comments and suggestions made during the stay and favors direct communication.
