Terms & Conditions of Sales

Object
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) automatically govern sales of stays in the ADOREI gîte at Domaine de Leycot.
Lessor: Catherine ABBADIE, Lieu-dit Leycot 24150 Cause de Clérans.
The customer acknowledges having read and accepted these T&Cs prior to any reservation.

Ability
The rental of the cottage is established for a capacity of 6 people for optimal comfort. On request, a 140 X 190 convertible sofa in bedroom 3 can be used as an extra bed.
If this capacity is exceeded, the lessor may refuse additional people.

Price
The price includes the rental of the cottage and the tourist tax, the supply of sheets (beds made on arrival), towels and kitchen linen.
For additional beds on the 140X190 convertible sofa, a rate of 20€ per night and per person will be charged.
Towels for the swimming pool are not provided.
Baby equipment can be provided on request (cot, high chair, bath) with the exception of sheets and blankets.

Reservation
The reservation becomes effective after payment of the total amount of the rental.
All reservations are personal and cannot be transferred to a third party.

Payment security
The rental company has chosen elloha.com/stripe.com in order to secure online payments by credit card. The validity of the customer's payment card is verified by stripe.com . There may be a refusal of the payment card for several reasons: stolen card, blocked card, ceiling reached, input error.
Any reservation or payment that is irregular, ineffective, incomplete or fraudulent for a reason attributable to the customer will result in the cancellation of the order.

Security deposit
A security deposit of 800 € is requested on arrival and returned at the end of the stay, less any damage observed, missing or damaged equipment.

Cancellation of reservation or modification by the customer
The cancellation of a reservation must be made by email to the lessor and will only be effective after confirmation of its consideration by the latter.
In case of cancellation,If the customer does not show up on the scheduled arrival date (No show), 100% of the amount of the stay remains with the lessor.
If the stay is shortened, 100% of the amount of the stay remains with the owner.

Cancellation of reservation or modification by the lessor
In the event of force majeure or serious personal events affecting the lessor, a proposal for relocation or postponement of the stay may be proposed. If this proposal is not suitable, the lessor undertakes to reimburse the entire reservation. No compensation can be claimed.

Arrival and departure
The tenant must arrive on the 1st day of his reservation between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. In case of late or deferred arrival, the tenant must notify the lessor.
Departure takes place before 10am.
The length of stay is determined when booking. The tenant may not under any circumstances claim to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.

Use of premises
The tenant undertakes to respect the peaceful character of the premises and to use them in accordance with their destination.
The cottage is non-smoking.
Pets are not allowed in the domain. In the event of non-compliance with this condition, the lessor may refuse the stay.

Housework
The cleaning of the premises and equipment (fireplace insert, barbecue, garden furniture, etc.) is the responsibility of the tenant during his stay and before his departure.
A cleaning kit is available.
Cleaning can be done at the end of the stay at the request of the tenant for a flat rate of 60 € to be paid in cash before departure.

Swimming pool
A swimming pool, unheated, filtered with chlorine, 10 x 5 m and 1.5 m deep over the entire length, is available to guests of the gite on the 1st floor .May to September 30.
For safety, the swimming pool is under alarm. Guests are responsible for its management during their stay. Children remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents.

Insurance and Liability
The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by him. He must be covered by civil liability insurance and can be insured by a resort-type insurance contract for these risks.
The lessor cannot be held liable in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal effects on the entire estate, both inside and outside.

Complaint
The landlord is attentive to comments and suggestions made during the stay and favors direct communication.
