Project

We fell in love with Périgord, its landscapes, its heritage and its quality of welcome. Our crush on this area and our desire for change led us to settle in an old farm with the aim of bringing it back to life.

After a year of work and planting, we were happy to welcome our first travelers in the fall of 2021.

The ADOREI lodge was the dwelling house of farmers at the beginning of the 19th century. The old stable where we live, the old wooden tobacco dryer, and the stone sheepfold in the interior courtyard bear witness to the original agropastoral activity.

We live on the estate and are in the process of developing an agritourism project with the diversified production of fruits and vegetables. The orchard of 200 trees and fruit shrubs that we planted upon our arrival was developed on the principles of syntropic agriculture which is still experimental in France. This is an agroforestry cultivation practice that is close to the functioning of natural ecosystems. We welcomed a few beehives, chickens and ducks that are friends of the vegetable garden.

We will be happy to discuss with you in order to best organize your stay and help you discover, if you wish, the permaculture practiced on the estate and share our production in season.
